Need to get away from it all? What if we told you there’s a hidden spot where you can truly unwind and let go? Paradise Down by the Lake can be found where art meets nature and where creation meets expression. Reconnect with your inner explorer and venture on an exhilarating multi-sensory experience that brings together sound design and bold cinematic ideas. Invite your closest friends and vibe on the rhythms of the lake. You are the central character in an expressive musical world. Only you can find yourself.
After an unforgettable first edition in Drogenbos, Paradise Down by the Lake has found a new home in Park van Beervelde, a truly stunning lakeside location where tranquility rules the land. Especially during this time of the year, this piece of nature shows its most colourful side. When darkness falls, our captivating light show will mesmerize all our visitors. Sitting right between Ghent and Antwerp, this piece of paradise is convenient to reach too.
To those unfamiliar with Paradise Down by the Lake; our guests are able to book one of our different rowing boats (each with an eight-person capacity) that were specifically designed for the occasion. Expect comfortable seating and space to dance for up to eight people, and a sturdy table as well, perfect for idyllic picnics. The stage is built on an island, right in the middle of the lake, serving a rich palette of different sounds wherever you decide to row.
Paradise Down by the Lake is fully COVID-19 proof; we apply a strict safety matrix and adapt our bar and toilet services accordingly. Since the first days of Paradise City Festival, we deeply care about nature and sustainability. To comply with our own high standards, we don’t allow the use of engines in any form, while maintaining a rigorous zero waste policy.
Our hidden paradise is open on 19 different sessions: 5 PM - 11 PM on Thursdays and Fridays, 2 PM - 11 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. Needless to say, capacity is extremely limited, so act fast when ticket sale starts on Wednesday March 17th.
Ticket Policy: We are aware these are challenging times for everyone, which is why all tickets will be refunded in case of cancellation. The location has been booked well into the summer, allowing for flexibility the government force us to postpone any of our events.
